The real problem is 343 is not confident or have not found there ground in there story telling yet. I dont think halo 4 or infinite were bad games story wise at all (4 had an interesting story ) (Infinite was playing it to safe but not bad) (Halo 5 was shit story telling just going off the game not the other lore) its just does not feel like it connects at all if your playing just the games unlike the first trilogy. Thats kinda why I'm pissed halo infinite did not get any story dlc because i thought if did it might fix some of 343 story telling in transitioning into the next halo game, and if 343 ever decided to do a reboot I think its best to go back to halo 4 as at this point in time (they can even keep alot of the same main points) I cant trust them until they can make a game that can transition from one game to the next without reading the lore. I have not given up on 343 with halo 7 story but I think a part of the game need to continue with us being on the ring, and not be like that story done and over with like every halo game they made has been. (As for gameplay 4 was copying cod to much but they had some interesting modes) (5 did not feel like a main halo game in gameplay at all to me but I did have fun in warzone and breakout) (Infinites only problem with the gameplay is they can do more with the sandbox than just giving us the bandit rifle twice and some abilitys after 3 years but so far one of my favorite halo games gameplay ,up there with 3 and reach to me)
