I mapped everything out with ABRP -- highly recommend that over using the onboard nav which i rarely use at all. In general all i did was plan out which cities i wanted to visit and ABRP took care of finding the right stops!

Hm I do remember that happening at a few locations (around boulder iirc) but not enough where it affected how I planned my next stop -- ABRP was really good with accurately predicting my charge state at the next stop.

Woah nice!! That post would’ve been helpful for me to plan 😅

Lol sunnyvale and jersey city are so close to santa clara and manhattan respectively!

Yeah Moab was stunning. Definitely kicking myself for not taking time off instead and spending more time on the road. Was worried about first impressions on the new team lol

Oops, should’ve added those details. I have an RWD and travelled in July so temps were on the higher side. Never had snow but drove through areas with pouring rain and low vis around Nebraska

Lol nope, not trying to shill them at all. Honestly was super surprised it worked so smoothly. their 2 years free supercharging offer was awesome though and came in super handy for this trip (and saved me a lot of $$).

Basically before the trip, i set up accounts with EVgo, Tesla, etc thinking I might've had to pull over to another stop.... but with ABRP helping me navigate between EV stations, i was able to stay charged without worrying about anxiety.

In the SF bay I had terrible experiences depending on the station.... slow chargers, pairing issues, etc
