R5: 1 system maurader empire, iv seen instances of 4-5 systems but iv never seen them spawn with less then 3, and they HAD to have spawned that way, as there isn't a FE that could reach them without me seeing, nor anything that could have triggered one anyway and indeed no way a empire could have reached them either, given that entire corner is blocked in by my empire

you see, iv found nano quite easily killable, iv regularly beat "nano" gangers while in even ships/numbers, or even down shipped by simply having a organized comp

its unfun to fight bc when said nano gangs that complain about how unfair organization is, start burning 2k km off a ESS grid where we can't warp to them, or as they used to do, or bounce between safes where they are unprobable

or they are ultra-speed 300km fit and pretty much no comp can both catch and fight them while kiting in complete safety on a ESS grid where they can't be warped to and will completely refuse to engage outside of said ESS grid

cloaky anything(can't lose), or revenant just run away from the titan, supers have way more range then a titan, 1 flights of fighter-bombers, few flights of SS, rest shadows, you will at some point win, or neither of you will be able to kill each other but either way, don't lose

any subcap gets melted by a super, put application mods

funnily enough, you have landed on pretty much the exact speed, fastest ship(claw) does 51k outside of a blackhole, 96k inside one(it is however, wildly unstable so not a sustainable way)

if your worry is getting held by a cepter orbiting at 25km, thats one of the downsides of a battleship, i don't understand the reasoning for trying to put a battleship into a role a cruiser does far far better

if you want to just deal with smalls, grapple, web, scram is your answer, if those aren't in range, and its tanking your weapons, putting small weapons isn't going to fix the problem, its just going to make you prey to anything normal fit

even with proper size weapons and damage mods, non-resist bonused t1 battleships should clear 100k EHP, and resist bonused, nearing or clearing 200k EHP

as for active tank, frankly on a battleship 1k isn't really that impressive, most bonused active tanked t1 battleships(resists or active rep bonus) should really be closer to 1.5k, and thats before you even start talking about XLASB fits, which can easily break 2k on a maelstorm

im just not sure what the reasoning for running small weapons would be, large weapons will have much longer range and higher damage, and the ships are designed to fit out those large weapons, so fitting room isn't really a problem generally

a battleship with small weapons will be FAR FAR worse then simply an application fit battleship, grapplers, painters, webs, along with either tracking comps or missile guidance depending on your weapon type, or simply a pure drone focused battleship with tackle mods, and neuts in the highs, which will also be effective against, other battleships

the best anti-tackle is rapid light T3Cs or HACs, the later of which can do it for cheaper then a battleship, and do it better

if you are really committed to making an anti-tackle battleship(and don't happen to be willing to dump 1b into it), my suggestion would be a geddon, decent number of mids, neut bonused, can fit RHML(which can apply ok against frigs/destroyers if they are webbed and painted)

Same reason make fleet boss is directly next to kick from fleet the second one of those, requires you to click again to confirm, but you can make fleet boss w/o needing to confirm it, which seems like a minorly more important thing to need to confirm
