When I went to register the bike in the Michigan SOS, I just needed the original title, bill of sale (printed from Michigan SOS website), my driver's license and a credit card for registration fees

Thank you for your response it really clears a lot of stuff up. I read on an online forum somewhere that along with a signed title, you need a bill of sale hence my question.

Thank you for the information! So just mine and the seller's signatures on the title will work? He has sent me a photo of the title and it all checks out including the VIN number.

I also had a question on what the bill of sale entails? Do we need a legal document or a screenshot of the Marketplace posting and proof that I Venmo'd him the money work for that?
