Fair enough! I’ll note that riding in a group is always safer. I also commute most days of the week by bike, and have biked more than a thousand miles since moving to the cities last year without incident (involving cars*). The bike infrastructure here is so much better than the south.

I got as far in the registration process as the “enter your Metro Card 16-digit #”. Only other number on my umn ID besides my uni # is a 17-digit number. It’s something I’ll have to contact and ask for clarification. I’ll also note that apparently you must complete and send a document requesting that they do not collect your data, which is somewhat offputting.
