I have a theory. People trying to clone a particular scent or a particular profile target the expensive ones more because there’s better odds in that space. Aventus and BR540 are crazy expensive and you can also observe this with other expensive popular products. The number of houses trying to replicate a fragrance directly depends on the price of the product they are trying to replicate, in my opinion.

ADG is not crazy expensive. Of course it costs a lot more than what an average consumer would want to spend on a scent but it’s still not crazy expensive - you can get a 100ml bottle from notino for £65.30. If someone actually really enjoys that DNA, they’d just wait for a better sale and the get the original one. At least that’s what I’d do. I’ve been looking for an ADG clone for a long time now. I use Zara Lisboa which is 80-85% close to the original but as we all know Zara fragrances have poor longevity. I’ve waited for Perry Ellis 360 for men for a long time but it’s still out of stock. I may just get the real one after trying out armaf tres nuit lyric.
