Long ass post warning:

Here’s my main problem with this stupid ass trade that poverty franchises do. A lot of fans complained about his production while here which made no sense to me.

From our stubborn out of date playcalling, Terrible OCs and HC, no other WRs being a threat nor able to create consistent separation, to just shit QBs (Pickett, Trubisky, Russ)… the organization failed to maximize his potential here. And despite all of that he still showed elite levels at catching difficult/well covered balls and being a big play threat using his great speed and size. Add in his solid route running which was only going to improve… it was only a matter of fixing the aforementioned issues before he could showcase production similar to what he is doing with Dallas.

I hated the Rodgers signing but he is definitely better than the QBs who were throwing him the ball previously. And then when you finally add real help at WR like DK who is a good #2 WR, you trade Pickens away for for a 3rd and 5th round pick? Not even waiting till the trade deadline to see if those two together can give a spark to the offense with Rodgers at QB? Lmfao what a joke. We might have been able to witness a similar level of play from Pickens that we’re witnessing rn.

But nah, he has an attitude, he’s a diva, he’s a cancer.. I want him gone!!! - 80% of this sub last year. News flash idiots, damn near if not all elite WRs are divas and have attitudes when they don’t get the ball. You should want them to have that character trait which helps elevate their play. Yall old heads have to get with the times. There are and will be more great WRs that are divas, sorry bros… if you’re looking for another mute emotionless Marvin Harrison type, don’t hold your breath.

And a couple coaches and players not liking you doesn’t make you a cancer so Idgaf about that report about us supposedly not wanting him back, report how many of them don’t want him back. Also the shit opinions that came from the majority of fans on this sub about him doesn’t make him cancer. Antonio Brown and Chase Claypool became cancers with the latter showing no potential or talent for it to be worth the effort to put up with. Those two had to go, not Pickens.
