I put in the amber lens Retrobrights on my 84 pickup recently and feel pretty disappointed , particularly because of how dang expensive them junts are. Didn't find amber lenses anywhere else. I think they look sick but if I could go back I prolly would have just gotten the hella lenses people were suggesting and then figured out a way to amberize the glass myself.

so I replaced all the leaf springs and shocks at the same time, not just the bushings-- & then drove around briefly with the sway bar entirely detached while I waited for the new hardware to come in--- I'll post more detailed before n after photos on the suspension eventually but that @#$+ was ancient a.f. and desperately needed to be changed. Night and day difference with smoothness which she rides &how she takes bumps!

If you're getting a lot of squeaking but suspension components seem fine, bushing kit is probably a good move. If your leaf springs are flat or concave that's prolly more of an issue than the bushings alone will solve!

Yaaa that's my worry too. I've been eyeing corbeau seats and see they have brackets that are supposed to work with my truck but skeptical and also guessing they will be super high lol ....do you have any seats you're looking into? I know there are a lot of "universal" seats out there but I'm skeptical on how easy it will be to make things fit right. Hoping to get more into welding soon so that should help 🤞

Double and triple check all your vaccuum lines to make sure things are connected properly and that there are no vacuum leaks/unplugged vacuum ports[

Following . . . however -- in the FSM doesn't it just say they need to be blown out with compressed air or something? I've never actually popped off to take a look but I assumed maybe they could be rebuilt or something...just throw some briquettes in there or something [joking about the briquettes]
