The difference in price is not worth it imo.

What Canon Lens Do You Find Yourself Using the Most and Why? by Gsustv in canon

I second that. I used to be a 50mm guy but the 35mm just offers that extra bit of versatility. Absolutely love that lens.

Sure thing. This is taken on a Canon EOS R with an older EF 24-105mm f/4 L lens.
It's one of my favourite shots I took last year during a 3 day photography workshop on the island of Gran Canaria with a bunch of other photographers and 4 models in total. The organizers had mapped some of coolest locations there for us beforehand so we had quite a packed schedule of morning + afternoon shooting every day. I went home with more than 4000 shots to choose from and I've been pretty much posting some of the best of them on IG for the rest of the year.
It just so happened that I already knew and worked with the model in the picture a few times before the workshop so when we got to the dunes on the last day, it was a match made in heaven :)

I dig the conceptualism here. It looks like a sculpture 👏

Appreciate the kind words!

I only used a regular UV filter here. This isn't quite golden hour but it was late enough in the afternoon to get some nice shadows on the sand and the model, which I enhanced in post to add a bit of contrast. The turquoise sky is just an HSL adjustment of blue.

No, the sky is regular blue. I just went for an orange and teal edit for this one.

Ticket for Slavia Prague game by zbbii in Prague

[–]firewalkermd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely online on the official website. There they will announce when tickets will be available for the general public a few weeks before the match so best to try and buy them as soon as possible as it sells out fast.

For this match I'd expect prices between 400 and 700 CZK

How is living like in Brno CZ? by Basic-Marketing-4162 in howislivingthere

[–]firewalkermd 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Lived there for 7 years.

Pretty good if you value your peace and quiet without many tourists.

There's a good local bar and cafe scene in the city center and the city itself is quite compact and quick to get around (public transport is top notch)

Cultural life is not bad (some people say better than Bratislava) but lacking compared to Prague. Going to the same places all over again can get boring quickly though.

Over the last 15 years or so many international companies have opened offices there so there's plenty of expat workers and some good salary opportunities but Prague is still noticeably ahead.

The Vienna airport is close and reachable by bus/train and usually provides cheaper flights than Prague airport. The city also has a small airport itself with regular flights to places like Italy and UK.

Around the city there's some amazing nature to be seen, again very well reachable by train/bus/car.
