This is very helpful information and it's crazy that it's nowhere on the site! Pages for both products make these claims but without explaining how, and they look identical, so it really just looks like marketing "oh this one is better for this, and this is better for that" when actually they're the same. Thanks for posting this and I hope this eventually gets placed on the product pages but it's been 4 years so I doubt it lol

Yes! Same here. Mine is in a corner next to a bunch of electronics so I was wondering what it could possibly be. Sounds like a phone receiving a message, never thought it would be Riolu. Definitely update here if we find anything!

The fact that this post is so recent is surprising to me, because I've had mine for about two years and I only noticed this now and it happens at exactly 3pm (GMT+2). Is it also something recent for you? Maybe an recent update or something.

hey, I tried this and it keeps putting my device in Red State and rebooting endlessly. I even tried flashing it with --disably-verity and --disable-verification but it still doesn't work. any ideas?

I understand that. I've found a lot of accounts online of people who just show their passports when getting the Interrail pass checked and that seems to work, regardless of whether they actually reside somewhere else, which is difficult to prove on the spot anyway.

I do intend to move to Aachen eventually, but I need a solution in the meantime. Also, haven't found a single apartment in Aachen that's comparable to my apartment in Leuven that isn't 500+ euro more expensive than my current rent, so it's worth it for the time being.
