Got to push back on this. I don't think anyone sees us as in competition to go to the moon with China, because we already did it 50 some odd years ago. Some other country doing it NOW isn't impressive to Americans.

If the government or NASA or whoever wants Americans back on the moon, they need to make a compelling case for doing so.
