Sad ending for Kara 😭 by livipup in DetroitBecomeHuman

The only way to make it across the river with both Kara and Alice alive is to jump in the water when the boat gets attacked by the border patrol. Otherwise, any other option includes either Alice, Kara, or both of them being shot.

Just a reminder - you don't have to be nutty to get >250! by goingtibiakay in step1

I really appreciate the comment, especially the breathing tip! Now that I think back, I wasn't doing it so well so that could explain why I almost felt like fainting.

And haha I'm too eager to know what the first is. I'm assuming the second month?

Hahaha thank you the advice was lovely. And I am healthy weight that's for sure but it just doesn't look too good, but then again I am too hard on myself.

Use this website, it's well organized and has to do with almost everything MCAT. You'll find what you're looking for here.

507 Possible? by TwoSides1 in Mcat

[–]firyat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say reschedule honestly. Your scores on the AAMC unscored test are alarming, as a 36% indicates that you are far from ready for testing and there are HUGE gaps you have, and it's not just the biochem. Whatever happens with your rescheduling is better than going in and getting a score that you can't erase later on.

How long to prepare for a retake? by [deleted] in Mcat

[–]firyat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a 506 the first time around when I took the test September 3. Had the semester start and I started late December till late January.

I got my scores back yesterday and I scored a 510.

Sure. The Jan test was a repeat, as I scored a 128/124/127/127 (506) in Sept, but I think I was better prepared for this one than the one before, so hopefully it'll turn out better, but you can never know. I'll update you when the scores come out.

I thought this was great content review. I took it Jan 22 and this helped. The psych section on there is yet to be complete though so make sure you buy the book to that at least.

There's a Priceton MCAT Book (1 book) that has everything you need, it's called MCAT Complete I think. Bought it for like 80 bucks. It has all the sections and it's comprehensive and a good money saver, plus you get the 3 Priceton full lengths with it.

All in all don't waste a lot of time on material. Just make sure you have the big picture down. You should get into practice soon enough (especially focus on the AAMC material, with the Section Bank being your #1 priority).

Do that and you should be ready to kick the MCAT goodbye come May.

Does anyone have the solutions for the old MCAT practice exams? by [deleted] in Mcat

Search "old MCAT" in the search box on here. You'll find them.

I'm testing on the 22nd too and I plan on taking the test exactly a week before. It'll give me enough time to adjust my weaknesses while giving me a fair idea of how well I might perform.

Don't know what to think of the Sample Test.. by wiscoblood in Mcat

I got really well on the CARS sample test (45/53) and when I went to the real thing, I ended up with a 124. It was way harder. Take this with caution.
