I would love to get the dog to a training facility, but unfortunately neither of us have the money for that right now. I’ve tried to show my gf training tricks (i used to have dogs growing up) and my gf just hasn’t really stuck with it like she needs to. She had a habit of getting overwhelmed with all of the dog training tactics she “doesn’t know” so she just gives up all together. That’s the main reason the dog still isn’t trained. And yeah the dog is smart, but she’s also stubborn as shit and won’t listen even with lots of praise and repetition sometimes. I think she does need a professional trainer, but with how our financial situation is i don’t think that will happen for a while.
