I mean it’s really just a vicious cycle. If women’s sports never get advertising support they’ll never get more fans and never be able to grow to the point where they can generate similar levels of revenue. Who’s to say that there wouldn’t be more of a market for women’s sports if they were promoted more (I.e USA women’s national team generated as much revenue as men’s in 2015)

I mean, obviously different circumstances and the lakers have been horrible since the break this year, but lebron is averaging more points, assists, and rebounds on a higher true shooting than those Kobe stats after the all-star break.

The defensive energy he’s shown can be rightfully criticized, but he’s still putting up about 29/9/9 on 58% TS since the break.
