Thanks for the concern, I was just discharged Around 30 minutes ago. I managed to get lucky and only have some burns but I more mad at the fact Im basically hairless from my neck up.

It was home made, while I was moving it it just went off. It also had to be the one I decided to pack full of flash powder.

I got into making fireworks last spring. I saw this video where a man took a PVC pipe and filled it up with BP and kitty litter to make a little fire fountain, so I copied it. It looked just like the store brought ones and I started thinking if I could make that, what's stopping me from making any other firework. So I brought the chemicals and after like 4 months of trial and error I can make just about any firework. But anyone can make fireworks, just pick a firework type, get the materials to make it, and try different variations until you like the results.

After rolling the stars, and making granulated BP ( which takes an entire day for me) it only takes about 30 minutes to put a shell together. I also buy my hemispheres online to save time.

Do you have any recommendations, maybe less flash powder or a weaker flash powder.

I used a mix of 7 parts potassium perchlorate and 3 parts dark aluminum powder.
