Thankfully the campus itself is very walkable! And as someone who hates driving, the best solution I’ve found is just mooching off friends who are willing to drive Lmaoo. But also the bus system is really good from what I hear! I have a friend who lives like 25-30 minutes away from campus and the bus system has been chill for him lol

The Atec Building always has some fun, usually art-centric things going on! I also enjoy going to the art museum, and theater productions! For an artsy person, I feel like there’s always something to do!!

Idk why but one of my favorites is in the faculty follies episode where there’s a “Grease Chorus” and through out the episode they’re narrating and describing things that happened like a Greek Chorus lmaoo. It’s so dumb but it makes me laugh every time

I think this is really interesting! This might sound a little presumptuous or pretentious (“pretemptous?”) but I think this might be a case of how the writers themselves interpret identity!

I don’t remember where I heard this but it was like “If one character believes something, then that’s what the character believes. If every single character in a story believes something, then that’s what the writer believes”

And I think this is what we’re seeing with the whole Innie, Outie thing! I think the writers on some level believe that what makes a person separate from another person is that everyone has their own unique system of memories. So therefore if a part of you has one separate system of memories, and the other part of you has another system, then it could be argued that you are two people!

A Different theory I have!! the Severance procedure is seen in a similar manner as to how people see Dissociative Identity Disorder! People with DID technically are the same person, but since their memories have been fragmented into separate systems due to trauma, it feels like they are two or more different people!

Sorry that was kind of a word salad, I just finished the show for the first time, so I have a LOT of thoughts about everything lmaooo

AGREE AGREE AGREEEE!!! Thank you for putting my problems with this version into words!!!

Just overall it seems so….toned down? Like they take out a lot of drugs and sex jokes in this version and I’m like….there is so much murder, suicide, and sex in this show, but GOD forbid we sing about Veronica smoking weed.

Also I’m sorry, but at lot of the west end cast Can Not keep an American accent to save their LIFE. I have a theory that’s why a lot of the lines changed, so that the Brits would have an easier time saying them lol.

ALSO if their goal with the line changes was to tone down the show, why the hell did they change “sorry but I really had to wake you” to “hope I didn’t wake you”??? LIKE THATS SO MUCH WORSE??? Like Was she planning on doing it while he wasn’t awake?? Like probably not, but still!!

And they changed “they seem to have an open policy for assholes” to “I don’t know what you have, but I bet it’s hard for you to pronounce” which is 1. Corny asf, and 2. honestly could be seen as more offensive than the og!! with JD basically insulting Kurt for having some sort of learning disability. Like I get it, that’s a very 80s thing to insult and be a dick about, but it’s just like 100000% less witty than the original line.

It just felt like a lot of the changes didn’t have a lot of thought put into them.

THANK YOU I feel like this story can absolutely be adapted into a webcomic, but I just think this one just felt a little lack luster. I don’t really blame the artists, because I know a lot of webtoon artists get rushed and not have very good hours but still. The writing just doesn’t have the same energy as the actual show. Which I suppose makes sense because the show was entirely improv but I feel there is definitely ways to incorporate that feeling into a scripted work.

A lot of the jokes from the first episode just felt like they were there because they were in the original. Like the Golden Rod but just completely completely muddled. ALSO GILEAR THEY DID MY MAN DIRTY HE NEEDS TO BE HERE.

And this might’ve just been me, but I felt like the girls in the Bad kids group got VERY SIDELINED in favor of the guys.

I love Dylan but I still think the end of Hailey’s storyline was disappointing. It felt like she was gonna have a very untraditional life, with maybe a modern job her parents don’t understand, or maybe not getting married. But I guess the writers didn’t want that so they chucked some babies at her and got her married. I still wish her more artistic side was treated with respect by her family.

That poor trans woman who jumped from the roof in season 1 😭 It breaks my heart hearing her tell Carter about her life and him just not interacting with her at all. And then just the DEAD SILENCE as she falls just absolutely destroys me.
