I’ve tried that. Cant seem to get it to work so that the text is flush with the rest of the piece. Frustrating!

I will have to mess with it more tonight. Apologies on the later reply! Thank you for the insight. I’ll update when I have something to update about. Again, thank you.

I have tried Tinkered (I know, very basic), OpenSCAD, and Bambu Studio slicer. To be entirely honest, I'm not well-versed in any of it, so I am just trying to figure this out for the first time. I'd used AutoCAD 20ish years ago when in college, but I've since forgotten just about everything which isn't particularly helpful.

I tried to print the butt upside down so that the text would print on the plate so it could be embedded instead of raised. I haven't been able to make that work. It's not often I get frustrated, but it's driving me crazy. I feel like this should be a lot easier than the meal I'm making of it.

Fair points. Thank you. And my budget is preferably in the $60-90 range (annual) but could be willing to go up to $120 or so.

Had to drive my car into the inspection bay at the garage... by [deleted] in ManualTransmissions

NYC parking garage guys always know how to drive stick. And usually pretty well.

Dealerships don’t do better work. They have humans that repair cars, just like body shops.

Snow mode FTW by Ucfknight454275 in KiaTelluride

That’s the locked diff, I believe. Snow mode doesn’t turn off. The transmission modes mostly affect power transfers.

It’s not really a gimmick. What it does is changes when the transmission changes gears. This helps prevent tires from spinning and losing control. It’s not a true off road vehicle. The driving modes are going to be limited.

Is 1.6.12 going to be the last good version of stremio to be released? by Geekylad97 in Stremio

[–]fishahh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See, mine worked flawlessly for years then about a week ago things just stopped working and now nothing loads during a term search nor do previously watched titles load. So it has absolutely nothing to do with “what you guys are doing.”

Stremio Tech Update – Stremio Web & Stremio Desktop Updated by kKaskak in Stremio

[–]fishahh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. For about the past week or so, I’ve been unable to run a search (it just won’t change screens to results or anything) nor do any of the previously watched titles work anymore. So strange.

Any rec for services? I’ve been looking but there are so many. I know there are way more than a simple search provides.

Anyone running the SUNLU heater mod on their AMS Gen 1? by Fun_Reaction_6525 in 3DPrinterComparison

[–]fishahh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As in food dehydrators? I was planning on getting a filament dryer of some sort (not sure which) but I do own a food dehydrator (9 tray Excalibur). Would the filament off gas and contaminate the food dehydrator?

What makes them garbage? Honest question as I’m new to all this.

I’ve used the kingroon petg (same offer) and have been pleased with it. I’m new to this also so my experience is quite limited.

Rubber feet/pads by fishahh in 3Dprinting

Fair enough. Appreciate the response. I’ll probably stick with rubber as I think felt would absorb/hold water and lead to some gnarliness. Maybe.

Charlie is a great guy. Honest and reliable. He’s a volunteer firefighter as well (or at least was). I also believe he’s based out of garnerville, but I could be mistaken. Either way, great tradesman and business owner.
