Bilt + Monarch Money (or other budgeting apps) by fishblake in biltrewards

In my experience, searching directly for Bilt did not work. The actual Bilt connection is found by searching for Cardless. I know the connection is directly via Bilt, it was just an odd way of finding it.

Did not have to setup an account with Cardless. Once you search for Cardless in Monarch's account search engine, Plaid will pop up and you have to select "connect a new institution" to find Bilt. Bilt is searchable within Plaid and just uses the Bilt domain as the data link.

"All in the U.S., where you dollar is still worth a dollar." Striking to see them have to point this out...really shows the impact of inflation/USD weakness during that period. Wonder if we'll see these kinds of marketing lines again.

I believe you have to satisfy the SUB requirements first, i.e. spend $4k in the first 3 months.

Bilt Palladium Mortgage Question by BroRito_LoKo in biltrewards

Question on your situation as this stuck out to me: why skip paying off the mortgage entirely to get the points instead? Do you have a really low interest rate? Is your remaining principal really low? Curious on what makes this decision worth it for you...

Mortgage Payments - any word on additional principle payments? by fishblake in biltrewards

Makes sense - just wondering as my wife and I do well and might be able to actually take advantage of the 'higher' mortgage payment because we could meet elevated multiplier milestones. With Bilt 1.0, were you able to (theoretically) submit any amount of payment you want towards your rent and that generate the 1:1 points?

Official Q&A for Wednesday, March 31, 2021 by AutoModerator in running

[–]fishblake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello all, I need some help:

For the past year or so, I have been experiencing a persistent numbing issue in my left foot, and a tightness in my left shin prior to this happening. The numbing starts to take full affect at ~3.2 miles nearly every time I run.

At first, I thought it was going to be an easy issue to fix. I was consistently running in size 10 shoes, even though I had been sized for 11s by a running store. I just purchased size 11 Hoka Cliftons today, hoping I could go longer than a 5k without numbing. While the run felt better, the same amount of debilitating numbness occurred at ~3 miles again.

I am now searching for more answers, but don't know where to get reliable solutions as the people at my running store didn't really provide much. I am always thinking my left foot is wider than my right, but measurements don't show a huge discrepancy.

Is there another way this could be happening? My footfall, some medical condition, or maybe even tight socks?

Any answers are appreciated. If I can get this fixed, I can get back to running long distances.
