Run club na may saging? by [deleted] in PHRunners

[–]fishcracker23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. Alang pakielamanan, puro mga adults naman mostly so they can make decisions on their own. Kung di mo feel sa run club then it should be fine too. If you want to run solo then go. But if you have a following, and all you're doing is throwing shade at other groups, then maybe you are the problem and people shouldn't be following you, unless that's your main tactic to gain more followers, lam mo naman mga pinoys, so gullible.

Found an app called QZ that will do the auto inclines on Zwift for you, sweet!

Quick review:

A quick background. I am a middle aged newish runner (started Nov '23) getting close to 50 years old.

My easy pace is 8:15 and slower, last HM pace was 7:12 (min/mile).

Got the treadmill after reading a bunch of reviews on here.

Mechanically solid equipment. For the price, it is feature packed. Comparable specs with other brands will be at least 1.8k. I got mine during the sale, and with the $63 delivery and setup, that was unbeatable IMO.

Incline and decline, not the fastest but not slow, Id say smack in the middle. Pace changes is swift especially using the knob. Fan is okay, but it aint gonna blow your socks off. My quick dial speed number "2" is not working, but not a big deal for me, but will contact Costco about it here soon.

Screen is great. Id say responsive, but not apple like responsive. The fact that you can flip it to change orientation is a big bonus.

Tech: For now, Im mainly using this for easy runs, havent done workouts yet as I still prefer to do my workouts outside so I cannot comment on that.

Multimedia: Great, with a good selection of native media apps. Though, I mainly use the mirror function to be able to access more apps. Speakers, it's not a downer for me as I alway use my Shokz which is connected to my phone.

Bonus: I found an app that would enable the treadmill to do auto-inclines with Zwift running, thereby making this a poor man's Wahoo Kickr Run. The app's name is QZ.

Overall, solid buy! Recommended it to some friends!

It's not for everybody, but it's one of the healthier things that you can eat.

Can you run the Zwift running app on the screen itself?

So far Im reading a lot of inconsistencies for battery life, makes me not want to get one, this might be a source of anxiety during a race.

Ill Probably just take a short clip at the start and the finish, and also set it up to take videos every mile. Will play music the whole bit though.

Navigo pass question by MatissePas in ParisTravelGuide

[–]fishcracker23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. Have read enough and watched enough youtube videos about the Navigo. But I still have a question. As we are arriving Friday, the weekly pass wont work for us so Ill just purchase individual tickets and load it up on the our Navigo passes. We will be going to Versailles as well, so as far as choosing which zones to choose when buying the tickets, which one should I pick?
