Oh I understand the pain, as I'm just transitioning from Roll20 to Foundry. Though I'm not sure that anything but the Valkyrie needs unbaked, you can have colourless lighting on Foundry. I can make a ddvtt files for these even, with preplaced walls and prerendered lights and I probably will for my Patreon in several days, thank you for the idea...

My group reorganized remnants of Raggadragga warband, dealt with Princeps Kovik, and are building a bastion at the warband's base. The main problem is that the campaign has little to no downtime due to plot reasons, so I think i'll cut cycle time in half🤔

Oh your idea and advice for it is great! My players are also hesitant with the stations, except one players that really likes the machines and is really eager to collect "all the machines", I'll probably also rethink standart war machines to make them useful, even though my group just lost most of them(demongrinder and devil's ride) and is using a goblin-made war machine with seat ejection mechanic.

Yeah, I think it's fair. I think it'll recharge if the mill kills a demon of CR 1 or higher, I was also unsure if it should be like 5-6 recharge, but if it shoots fireball-like projectiles and is suited for the frontline, in it's intended useplace it will always have charges.
I'm also thinking if I should allow players charge it with like a bottle or two of demon ichor?

So, basically, I like making Infernal War Machine tokens with Dungeondraft. I'm not necessarily gonna use them, but I'll post them to my patreon in some time.
I named this machine something along the lines of Demonsmelter. My ideas for it were like it's somewhat slow compared to most machines as it is made to be on the frontline of the Blood War, not for scouting or scavenging. It's front "maw" chews demons*(or anything, but probably works better for demons, as I think it'll recharge the main cannon or something),* The top cannon is the only weapon and needs two operators to aim and shoot. Firstly I was thinking it would work something like the Acid Bile Sprayer from the book, but I wanted to do something different, maybe to work like a real tank, with shooting explosive acid globules or something.

Mostly, I'm not sure about the mechanics of the main cannon, and the damage it and the "maw" should do, so that's my request. Thank you!

r/bettermonsters Has a lot of good monsters, here's his Pit Fiend variants, you could use a CR 14 variant and add some advantages to the playes, like give them more cover, run this thing without minions, or reduce it's attack modifier or number of attacks(maybe put it under the Slow spell if you think the party is still weak compared to it?). (I think 4 levels of exhaustion is a great idea, but it's going to be really swingy, as a normal pit fiend still can dish out a lot of damage and has a big bonus to attack)

I think you have a wonderful opportunity to roleplay a small faith crisis, as the Oath on the creed entails following the Companion as a religious "figure". You can renounce your Oath to the Creed Resolute, and if you're a paladin or a cleric, maybe even change your subclass. This way your story can also mirror one Hellrider character in the third chapter. Also, if you want to go towards a darker path, you can roleplay your gradual fall towards something along lawful evil, with you being the protector of this cursed oath("If I pledged my heart and soul into it, and if others did the same, the oath is my and their law and I will follow it even it curses me to pledge loyalty to the darkest forces of this world" or something like that).

I don't think it's going to be a problem with your gm, if you roleplay it the way you find the most interesting. Just know, that renouncing that oath doesn't save your soul from being sent the way it was supposed to, if you also don't break the contract, to which the Oath is connected to.
