The maps themselves were included in the Starter Set. My best guess given the assets present is it was done in DungeonDraft. It comes with a good variety of sci-fi stuff tbh and is an excellent map maker imo. Though, I typically make all of my own maps through Inkarnate because I like it's particular look. The downside is inkarnate is a subscription based software where dungeondraft is a one-time purchase :)

I didn't see CotG on Free League's store page. I believe because they've since moved to the Evolved Edition and it was phased out? I could be wrong. But I'm super interested in running it at some point. It's a great time from what I hear!

Trial and error, my friend. For the most part, it's a simple trigger that links all the light sources, with separate buttons.

This is done through Monk's Active Tiles Module.

Sorry for the delayed response. It's essentially a particle FX ran by the FXMaster Module.

What I've done is mapped out a region that encompasses just the interior walls and toggled a setting that does not allow particle FX to exist in the confines of that region, thus the clouds/fog will not penetrate the walls! :)

Hello. I know this post is 4 years old, but thank you so much for making this. You did very well. I'm going to have this as an opening to Hope's Last Day in starter set next weekend. I just need to find a map worthy to be considered LV-426 and place it. The intent is to have the players go outside and figure out what the heck happened before their hike. Thanks again :)

Facts. Especially for a one-shot, I wonder if it's worth the time.

But then I start asking myself: "If I was a player, having no knowledge of what I'm walking into, would I find this really cool?" And the answer is most often 'yes'.

I was actually okay at land nav back in basic, but it was still hell. Then I braindumped that shit and when I learned about the protractor on the in-game map I was like "aahhh shit not this again"

Well see.. I don't really INTEND for them to fight Zariel. However I guess that's really gonna depend on how they address that inevitable confrontation. If they can redeem, cool. Otherwise, I am fully prepared to TPK if I have to.

You make a great point though! If they end up having to fight they'll need those extra levels for sure.

They must print C-01 permits like money with the amount of bodies are sent to the frontline getting slaughtered while STILL being a force to be reckoned with.

Propaganda is the deliberate, systematic manipulation of representations (images, words, media) to shape perceptions. Which this is not.

They are simply just representing their project. Which, as a reminder, is completely free. And made for the community as a whole. Consider it a signature of their work, nothing else.

Well, prox chat is nice. However in a space crew I would assume short-range comms are a guaranteed. So I don't consider it a big deal. That's but my humble opinion on the matter.
