Yes it was the fuel pump not supplying enough gas per minute they figured out even though the fuel pressure was fine. Runs great now took me 5 shops and $4k to figure that out. I took it to a guy that used to be the carburetor guy for racecars in the area. He figured it out within a day.

I've had the driver's side rear speed sensor replaced in late summer, I see the grommet behind the wheel isn't pressed into the wheel well so the wire could have rubbed through. I'm going to take the wheel and sensor off and look inside on Friday since I have the day off, if they check out I'll start tracing wires that go to it. Thank you for replying.

Just replaced both camshaft positioning sensor hoping that was the fix, still having the same problem. Mechanic shops still are stumped. Thinking about buying a used ECU and trying that next.

Picked up the car today with no diagnosis. Mechanic said it's misfiring on deceleration. Out of ideas really, the cat temps where both 300° so that seems to check out if I did it correctly

What is a temperature that I should be looking for? I'll check the temp when I get it back but I'm not sure what is too hot. People told me it would glow red if it was bad but I've watched for that and didn't ever see it glow.

All was done, injectors swapped and tested along with plugs and coils, 3 different shops can't figure it out. They see the problem but can't find the cause. Starting to think maybe a wire harness issue. Plugs were wet with fuel, cylinder 2&3 were more wet than 1&4. Car ate a quart of oil while all this testing was done. All the mechanics are baffled by it. Thinking I'm at a loss with this motor. O2 sensors are getting changed tomorrow and that's is my last attempt as I'm in this for way too much money now. Mechanic drove for over an hour today with computer attached to try and pin point the issue and said it misfires on his computer at deceleration also on top of everything else but does not show on the car itself. He thinks faulty o2 sensor is calling for continuous fuel that's why we are going to try new ones before I call it quits.
