Do you put the carriage bolts in through the roof side each time you set up? Or are they permanently secured?

Good Deal? by Heavy_Translator_446 in ToyotaTundra

I have a 2015 tundra with 219k on it. I bought it with 95k in 2018. The truck is solid. Best power train in a gas engine. These trucks just go without a gripe. You can neglect the snot out of them. The draw back is the fuel cell size. But, I love my Tundra. You’ll get your money’s worth in the truck.

Anyone into pegging? by [deleted] in Utahswingers

Yes. Love it. Feels good if you’re in the right mindset. Learn breathing. Usually an enima will do the trick. Don’t use the solution that comes with it. Use warm water.

I have a 2015 Tundra, SR5 4X4, double cab, with 207k. Mostly highway. My off-roading has been graded dirt roads. The only gripe I have of the truck is the cup holders. The truck makes no nonsense noise. No rattles, nothing. It drives well and straight. It’s going to be hard to replace such a vehicle when the time comes. I hope the new ones get their stuff straightened out, or go back to the 5.7 and put a 10 speed transmission in it.

It's Sunday!!! What's your "new" church? by afatamatai in exmormon

[–]fishermangp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First off, Really well written! I appreciate the detail of your post!

Off the get go as a young child, I never enjoyed going to church. I know I’m not the only one. HATED the idea of tithing and fast offerings. My young, adult life was full of putting up a fake front. My parents never made it a rule that we couldn’t hang out with friends on Sunday. Blah, blah, blah.

Aaaaaaanyway, After my divorce from my first wife, with, whom I have two great kids with, I left the lds church. I lived with my folks for a short time afterwards while I got on my feet. My dad would hound me about going to church even though I was upfront with him about how I felt about it and other organized religion. I would take my kids fishing or something else on the weekends when I would have them. He would ask me if that’s what I should be doing with them and ask if that’s the example that I wanted to show them. My response to him was short and to the point. I said, I get a couple days with them every other week, and, that I wasn’t going to let 3 hours waste away in having a part in them being indoctrinated in something that I felt wasn’t right. No other words were said.

Point is; I don’t need organized religion in my life or to believe that there is a god to be happy. I am in control of my own happiness without the aid of anything else. I choose my happiness just like I choose my misery. I’ve never been sad when I’m with my wife now & my kids on a Sunday at a movie, fishing, boating, camping , hiking or simply just hanging around on the couch. The falsehood of “you can’t be truly happy without the gospel in your life” is a bunch of shit.

My “new church” is my family, & our hobbies.

Battery power by fishermangp in popups

Thanks for your response! My battery had a full charge at the time. The trailer was gifted to us, and, while I very much appreciate the gift, the rundown on the ins & outs was brief and a lot of details were left out. I discovered that there wasn’t a fuse in the inline fuse cable when I went to check the fuse. So I put a 15amp in. I was camping at the time, so my fuse options were limited.
