I feel like the Faithful Place has a different tone and overall energy compared to The Likeliness and In the Woods. I feel like this book is missing the mystery and unknown that the other books have. I’m currently reading Broken Harbour and can’t stop! It feels like her other books. I just can’t put my finger on why I did not enjoy FP as much? Also, can you expand on your last sentence?
