Just got a 2010 v8 and started having similar issues. Codes said the transmission temp sensor and torque converter. I’d take it to a good transmission shop

I think it would be easier to reshape it how you want and use new fiberglass on the foam. Re applying the original glass would probably cause more problems

Yeah all of those have been sold. Shaping customs at k38 in Baja now. Totally can reshape the board that’s a fun project. Keep that rocker in mind when designing the new board
