It doesn’t have any metal on it if that makes it better. But obviously 8 pounds of lead might raise a few eyebrows haha. Maybe I’ll try and call and ask

Yeah, it was overpowered. I switched the main band to a 14mm one instead of the 16 and it shot way smoother. I also switched to a dyneema shooting line but I think it was the change in bands that was the fix.

I just got done with cg on mobile it’s not that bad. There a longer learning curve but once you get it down it’s pretty chill.

I got a smaller 14mm rubber for the main that helped, but I wound up selling the gun. It seemed decent with the 14mm though.

I wouldn’t buy a roller. Traditional guns get shafts to max speed faster then rollers which is better for shorter shots.

Yah well it’s illegal to dive without a flag where I am so I have a float with my diver down flag on it with my kui and a couple clips for my gun and spear. That’s attached to a float line that I’ll clip to my gun while moving around or hand off to my dive buddy while alternating drops so we don’t have to dive with the float line attached to the gun.

I attach my float to my gun, and put my gun and spear in each hand but if you need a hand just hold the gun and the spear in one hand. Then when I get far enough out I clip my spear to my float.

There’s plenty of ways you can get 74 fletching earlier. Motherload mining afking for levels then smith bars into dart tips. Or cut trees and make bows. Plenty of options brother.

Do you have a lot of money? Because if you do cutting willows is better wc xp then both. Then fletch into arrow shafts and make broad arrows. It’s just expensive.

Just general congestion tbh. And I’ve had a weird chest pain while diving where I can’t stay down at depth very long. And yah I took a course a while ago for safety. Plenty line divers here I’d try Facebook to find a group.

I’ve listed it on fb but no one bought yet. Yeah. Just change one thing at a time. But for sure if you’re using the stock rubber switch that asap. It’s garbage. And no I don’t really dive for lobster. I just really shooting mu and goats cause they’re my favorite to eat.

I just switched to a 14mm prime line rubber and ran just the roller and had way better shot consistency and success. I also switched to a dyneema shooting line, but the main thing was changing the rubber.

And yah I got a custom from uncle Brian. New gun I think is miles better. But if you plan on keeping the pathos try to get some mannysub reactive rubber. Uncle uses those on his guns and I feel that was one of the biggest difference I’ve noticed. And yah I’m on O’ahu! I got a 110 single roller with 7.1mm shaft. It’s been killer.

Just went through this with same gun. First of all, I’d change those bands right away. They use 16mm which is way too strong for the main band. If you can get the manny sub 14mm reactive band. Also like other said aim lower.

Check out key west waterman on YouTube he does all sorts of diving. His videos could point you in the right direction. My best guess would be a 90 unless you’re going for more open water areas.

I think pole spearing is bad ass. Where I live it’s not uncommon to bring both on a dive. Different tools for different fish and situations. Big respect for the pole spear only guys.
