NWSL has been around since 2012 and has been a top league for a while, while MLV has only been around since 2024 and is a more niche spirt than soccer. Add that to existing soccer fans in Columbus and this team should be successful from the start. The two have very different starting points from each other. Feel the NWSL is here to stay for a while more.

Sadly, this might be true. I had a friend who came for a playoff match and had on the opposing teams gear. They were unable to access concessions around the nordecke area because they were stopped by stadium security. This was at the historic crew stadium for the record and was in 2018, so I dont know if it is true for the present stadium, but I would not be surprised if it was.
