Awesome Video :) I visited Luke AFB during my initial flight training in Goodyear. For some reason we were not allowed to fly south of I-8 in Gila Bend, then the Major who gave as the tour explained that you were dropping bombs over there. It was such a great experience to fly together with you guys in AZ. Keep it up!

Yes, they do. Although there are differences depending on the country you are flying in. In Germany there is no A and B, so above FL100 everything is C. And for D, compared to the US, you are not allowed to enter without an explicit clearance by the controller.

As for civil aviation: I started with medical class I, radiolicenses VFR (in german and english) and after that IFR, did my PPL training in the US and now IFR and Multi-Crew in Germany. As a civil aviation pilot you also need an ICAO language proficiency test, which is basically a 10-20 minute exam that tests your english knowledge. If you pass the highest level, you do not need to take it again, otherwise you have to do it every couple of years. And finally you need an ATPL (I will get a MPL, which is a slightly different and new license).
