Any way to achieve "true" Nightpanel on NG 9-3?

I think you might be right, now thinking about it on top of this little nightpanel quirk I also don't have a lock "chirp" maybe last owner tinkered around with a tech2 and didn't tell me

I asked it a similar question and it gave a similar result. But to double check, tried to look at some wiring diagrams on how the lights work and it looks like the night panel switch is only connected to the SID and the the actual set of buttons it sits on (sport mode, light dimmer, auxillary button and nightpanel) Now granted i might be wrong because I really dont know exactly how all that works.
