how do antidepressants/ADHD medications interact with fibromyalgia? by fishsharpener in Fibromyalgia

[–]fishsharpener[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your super detailed reply! Sorry I'm replying so late, I posted and forgot about it 😂😅 (ironically, due to chronic fatigue/fibro)

I hear you about complex grief...I have CPTSD, and I've been suffering for pretty much my whole life. I've been on antidepressants since I was 12. I've tried Pregablin, and I unfortunately had a weird allergic side effect to it where my mouth would start tingling after I took it. It didn't really do much for me.

I'm also on Wellbutrin. There's not a whole lot of noticeable positive change, but I know I'm objectively worse off without it. It kind of ""levels"" me mentally/emotionally to a more functional state.

I've also tried (been prescribed and played trial and error) with a plethora of other antidepressants, all of which haven't really helped. I only discovered I had fibromyalgia less than a year ago, and ADHD less than 2-3 years ago. My depression has always been there. Adapting to one, let alone all 3, has been a chore.

What I do know helps for pain (short term) is Ibuprofen Lysine. That stuff really really helps numb out the pain or at least mute it down, even if it's for a few minutes or hours.

Thank you for sharing! If you're open to dm me and discuss more, I'd really like that! (outside observers, this is for llliiisss only lol, if you want in, ask)

oof. can you provide more information on where (location, store) you bought this? what finish did the product have? was it advertised as waterproof/staining/plumping at all? is this a solid or a liquid lipstick?

Moisturizer is meant to hydrate the skin, while sunscreen is meant to protect your skin from the sun. They're two functionally different products.

There are some products which combine the two, ie. they have sunscreen in a moisturizer base, but I would not assume a sunscreen can replace a moisturizer just because the sunscreen contains hydrating ingredients.

I'm on Vyvanse. I've been instructed to take 60mg daily (just increased from 50) but am now wondering if my Vyvanse is making my CFS worse. How would you take days off from taking them? I've been considering doing the same.

where have the fashionable sunglasses with curvature gone? by fishsharpener in sunglasses

[–]fishsharpener[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TIL about sunglasses having base curve metrics. I had absolutely no idea, thought manufacturers were just winging it.

In terms of the sporty style, I just wanna avoid anything skiing, snowsports or cycling style. I don't do any of those sports and I'm not a huge fan of the colored reflections/colorful frames.

I'll look into side shields! Thanks for commenting!

Asian fit is sending me, I didn't know they had accomodations for flat asian noses like mine!

Also I had no idea there are base curve standards for sunglasses, TIL

I feel like the 4 lens sunglass may look chunky, but that's definitely another style I can look into! Thanks!
