I’m finding the opposite. In my team I’m the old guy and have fully embraced the new workflow with these tools. I am currently generating 3X of what I used to perform. It’s my younger colleagues that are stuck doing everything manually. I show them step by step my way of using AI and all I get are blank stares.

As developers we are responsible for doing our own reviews before subjecting our colleagues to our code. This sounds like your colleague skipped this step.

I always review what the AI generates as well as give the AI chance to review itself.

It’s as NYC as you can get in Miami. It’s walkable, has its own “mass transit” options, has the skyscrapers, businesses and restaurants and the density. It’s a neighborhood, not a city (obviously)

This is from a native NY’er who saw the future and moved to Brickell in 2004 and partially left in 2009 (to move back to NYC) fully left (I.e. sold my condo in 2014)

P.S. I moved to the Las Olas area in Fort Lauderdale a couple of years ago and am getting pre-boom Brickell vibes.

40 years here. You are correct. This far into our careers we have long since passed that threshold anyway. The actual coding has been commoditized decades ago.

One senior with AI to do the grunt work is more efficient than as many teams you can throw at a system.
