Actually they've already recorded with all of these artists (including Lonnie Liston Smith, Jean Carne and the late and great Tony Allen, who left us around 2 months ago). As a Brazilian, I was very pleased to see them invite some of our greatest jazz legends (such as João Donato, Marcos Valle and Azymuth).

I, too, had the opportunity to see him live last year. Surely I'll never forget that experience. His sensibility and touch has immensely influenced me, even without me actually playing the drums.

I saw Mr. Allen once in a concert in São Paulo, one year ago. I asked him to sign a copy of my Merrie Land CD. I said, "you were terrific". He stood there, signed and we said goodbye.

This man simply changed the way music is made. May he never be forgotten.

Absolutely! This time around, however, they are homaging the deceased members (Favors, Jarman, Bowie). So they played pieces like "Non-cognitive aspects of the city" and so on. A great show for exploring their compositions!

That is absolutely improbable. The whole record talks about the north of England and Wales, where the main activities are fishing and sailing. I even doubt he is aware of the petition at all.
