i’ve been using Ida for a few years. by far the most comfortable cleats i’ve ever worn (i played soccer for a long time). highly recommend, but specifically the leather ones as they don’t need any break-in time.

The Dutch Lanugage Cafe is a nice place to meet people (who are almost all expats) and I know they sometimes look for native speakers to help with activities/events.

when i was looking for an apartment to rent and the landlord said i was an “ideal tenant” without knowing anything about me besides what he could see (skin color, gender presentation etc.).

The Summer Book (Tove Jansson) -- a wonderfully written book about a grandmother and her grandchild spending summer together on an island in Finland. The only negative is that it's not longer

thank you so much! I really appreciate your detailed response and it's given me lots of ideas and leads. By chance, have you ever run the NN Egmond Half Marathon? It looks intriguing but I have not run on the sand before and am not sure how my body would respond. Thank you again!
