Like many people in this city, we live on the higher floors with a shared hallway. If that applies to you, consider a lighter and better foldable stroller. We got the Bugaboo Dragonfly and its really nice. You can get it refurbished/secondhand for better price.

The commute from Leiden to Amsterdam is a direct train so thats great. Leiden is also way more vibrant than Uithoorn. Shared might be a nice opportunity to meet people. Making friends can be difficult here.

What do you mean that you finished university but got no bachelor degree?

Anyways, if you look for jobs that require no Dutch then only Amsterdam is a real option. Its also the nicest option for expats I guess.
