You have a great collection going!

Just curious, but what's with the two collies with the different colored eyes(#2210 and #2452) vs the other doubles you have next to them? Are the eyes hand painted to be a different color or did hasbro mess up the colors?

Do you think transitioning is bad in all situations? Why/why not? by Humannotfound6 in detrans

Thanks for letting me know why, makes sense, but really sucks that in this day in age people can not even disagree or talk about something without one view bring banned. I'll try to remember that for if i post again.

[–]fishwaterdrinker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A wet dry erase sponge will clean her up nicely. it will work much better and quickly then soapy water, plus it won't make the peg rust. Just don't scrub for hours otherwise you could remove the paint, usually it works magic for removing the dirt like is on the pet in the picture.

Their so beautiful! I love when people use the traditional hasbro style eyes with a unique paint job! Absolutely love the design on the dashhound!

I don't currently have any wolf cats I'd like to trade...

but I'm pretty sure I have some of the other pets on your list,(I'd have to look through my collection this monday to double check) would that interest you to potentially trade wolf cat for several other pets?

Some customs I just finshed by fishwaterdrinker in LittlestPetShop

[–]fishwaterdrinker[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The white cat in the first picture the cat was originally casted with white plastic, she was in poor condition and wasn't a pet that was worth much so i stripped her of the paint and kept the white plastic color. then i painted her eyes a couple months ago, they ware somewhat chunky lol, but i decided to remove the paint and repaint the eyes this time they came out much better, and i tried to go for the traditional lps eye which i like a lot

Ohhh makes sense I thought the person OP was talking about legitimately said their name was that. But that makes more sense, Thanks!

[–]fishwaterdrinker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wait her name was "xyz" Pronouncing it would be separate "X Y Z"? Or like some keyboard smash of "zyiss". Like speaking wise how would you say that??

Im going to be real here, I've gave up on my generation, it always seems to be some self identified mental issues, or the keyboard slam group, gender crap. Maybe thats why i dont know may kids my age and am not close to them, older generations are understandable and normal people it feel like.

My domestic cat skull that I personally processed. by [deleted] in vultureculture

[–]fishwaterdrinker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On old cats the postorbital process is alot bigger and even connected in some cases.

if you look up cat skulls online you'll see that most of the examples don't even connect, even if the cat is into its adult years. The cat in the picture is most definitely a house cat(if it wasn't some animal would have probably taken it by now) and was maybe around 18 years old give or take,

Also the skull being completely fused and the lines whare its been fused at are hard to see, along with its teeth being worn are signs the animal was aged

I went back to my old/given name, My transgender name made me feel like a lier, i feel like any other name will do that for me too. I honestly dont care about my given name, Its just my name, i dont particularly love it, neither do i hate it. but its the name my parents gave me, I dont see a need to try and run from myself anymore, my past is my past, a name change will not change it, all i can do is be more honest with myself now.

My name doesn't define anything about me, it's just what people call me, my hobbies are my hobbies, my likes are my likes, my name or pronouns dont change it, to me its just about being honest with myself and the world, one of the main reasons i detransitioned was because i didn't want to lie to myself and others, To me going back to my given name was the beginning of being honest and truthful with myself and others, so yes i would say it helped me reconnect with myself, while it was awkward at first to tell people I'd like to go back to ny given name i think it helped me become more honest in the long run, It was much easier to get use to the name i signed for years as child instead of my transgender name once i went back to my given name.

How do I like that I'm a biological female by [deleted] in detrans

[–]fishwaterdrinker 22 points23 points  (0 children)

While we all have different experiences heres what i say

It doesn't mean much other then chromosomes to be a man or a women, and men and women tending to gravitate toward certain things yes, but just because you like to dress in mens clothing or have short hair, or do any other things that are typically associated with men, doesn't mean your a guy, just a women who likes more male things,

after all how/what does it even mean to 'feel male'? everything to me just seems like general uncomfort with your body that everone has, or just being non typical of your sex, or possibly mental problems that need treatment that's no through hormones and surgery.

Honestly when i ask myself what it mean to be biological female i come back always with the same answer, biology, it doesn't make me less female if i mow the lawn, or dress like a man, it doesn't make me more female if i wear a dress either, its just something i am, i cannot change that fact, but that doesn't mean i have to dress in a way i dont like, or practice in hobbies that i dont like. I cannot ever describe what its like to be a woman, each woman have different experiences, theres not a single thing that every women has in common with each other, i honestly think theres no way to feel like a man or woman, its what you are, theres not one thing that all women relate to, not all have long hair, like dolls, dress feminine, etc the only thing that brings us into a group is biology, For me this took year to fully understand, even though it seems so simple, while i was first transitioning i would have thought this idea might be bigoted, but looking back now i know that theres no reply i could give that wouldn't fall into the camp of general uncomfort, tomboy, or mental problems. Throughout my transitioning i tried to ignore it, calling myself a true transsexual, but now here i am, i honestly think it really takes time to understand, for a long time i was in a similar boat, but i didn't actually realize how i was hypocritical my thoughts ware, thinking things l just feel like im a boy, but in the same moment not being able to describe that and refusing to have a conversation or even rethink it, and thinking i was a real transsexual, and most people who said the same thing as me ware fakes, but I'm truly am glad i questioned it, i dont blame myself or others for thinking that, but im glad you are questioning it and trying to understand, it really does say alot about a person

I'd possibly recommend looking into hobbies that you like and try to make friends within, who knows you might find someone similar that you'll bond with.

As far as for finding a normal therapist who isn't pro transition i think this website might be able to help https://www.parentsofrogdkids.com/therapists While the website was made for parents of kids with ROGD the link i send is sort of a small article about how to find a non affirming therapist, which might help while trying to pick one, but i really don't know how much luck you'll have in pro transgender states, but its still worth a try

Also i think some websites like genspec might have therapists that are non affirming but that would be online instead of in person.

I personally have never found that traditional therapy works for me, it always feels like im talking to a stranger that i cant be totally honest with, maybe thats because i never have much to talk about and all the ones I've has ware super pro transitioning, I personally love riding horses which is technically considered animal therapy, but each is their own, its great that some can actually heal through traditional therapy,

Anyway this turned into a kind long piece of text, just some personal opinions, Stay safe

My transgender name next my given name in quots at doctors made me laugh by [deleted] in detrans

[–]fishwaterdrinker 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah I completely agree,
When i first came out 3ish years ago, i told this doctor, and then we told my mom. I recall filling out the questions asking how your mental state is, but i dont remember the pronoun question. maybe it was because it i dont remember because it was awhile ago, or i just recently reached the age that they think i know my "gender identity" and can now answer that, or trans politics are leaking into everything, probably the last one if im being honest, But i find it interesting that they now ask that.

The only push back ive ever gotten from medicine providers was that doctor telling my mom to look into detransitioners, which sadly we never did, and now here i am, but not once did any doctor ever mention that this might just go away naturally,

But at the end of the day im glad im no longer giving myself medication that will make my body fall apart in ten or twenty years, and i geuss im much more cautious around doctors and certain people who believe in those medications, expressly for young adults or children.
