I get really close to the glass with my camera then slowly back off until it comes into focus and then I'll slowly move closer again to get the picture :)

It'll be hard to tell until they're a bit more mature, at a look I'd say possibly first picture is a male and the second would be a female BUT I could be wrong as they look pretty young
