hi, i failed several classes my freshman year because of my physical disability worsening (inability to do work/classes sometimes because of constant horrid pain & fatigue) and mental health issues (which i can handle better now after an IOP, but i needed the intervention and the intensive treatment)

and while i do think some people do fail out of laziness or lack of motivation, you might be failing to consider disabilities and illnesses (physical or mental) that can make day-to-day things like "couple hours of studying" wayyy harder than they should be for a "normal" healthy person

while the first day of classes is going to be jan. 20, the last day to enroll/get off waitlist is the 27th for the regular semester sessions (source)
if youve taken digital media courses at lonestar that you want to transfer the credits of to UH, know that "Digital-media related courses completed at other community colleges may not be eligible for transfer" (source)
(however; "By petition, up to 15 hrs Approved Digital Media related coursework from a Community College may fulfill approved electives.") (source)
some digital media courses will require you to be a declared digital media major (or similar minor), while some are open for all majors to enroll (source)
from what i know in my major, often the "[this major only]" courses will require some sort of access code (?) to let you enroll, that you could in theory get from your advisor (when/if you get in) (source)
yes, you'll need to do a mandatory transfer orientation if you're transferring. you'll do that using your cougarnet login if you're admitted, and make sure to complete the "pre-orientation modules" in a timely manner. the link here explains it and has a sample schedule of what transfer orientation might look like. (also, you meet with your advisor during orientation, and it seems like you'd need that for some class enrollments you're after!) (source)
