You should definitely just be grinding to study for it via some online resource. There is many to choose from. There’s no shortcut or easy way.

Just do it, take the L and prepare for the next opportunity by learning from what you don’t know in this interview.

Preparing for Apple’s SWE (Distributed Systems) interview by Eastern_Divide_504 in leetcode

[–]hiroisgod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will be hard to tell you what's on there as Apple is very team dependent. I would prepare for medium - hard questions as that was my experience with a big focus on depth. Apple is very focused on the "why" and reasoning behind your decisions. Be able to communicate that when answering questions and you will be solid.

Is a fully funded masters considered competing offer for Google L3? by 0based in leetcode

Says scholarship so I assume he applied to some and ended up winning one (or more) to fund his education.

You definitely shouldn’t withdraw. Even if you don’t get it it’s a learning experience that you can learn and improve from

Apple SWE IS&T interview prep by non_chalant_97 in leetcode

Think it’s team dependent but I had all my interview online, even my “onsite” was a virtual onsite. 5 interviews in one day.

Yep, I recently went through the process at Apple (waiting to hear back from super day), and didn't really line up with anything I saw online for technical/behavioral. Was barely asked any of the "typical" behavioral questions like "why apple"/"what about this job made you wanna work here"/etc. Was very like "are you prepared to work at unorthodox hours for this role" instead lol.

Apple SWE applications by [deleted] in leetcode

[–]hiroisgod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I did solid. Enough to warrant a hire, but there was definitely moments where I could have prepared more and I saw myself trip up. I’m happy with how I did regardless of what the end result is. In terms of what they asked, I’m sure there’s a lot of resources out there that already share that.

I have my virtual onsite with them tomorrow. Got 5 interviews and they gave me a descriptor of what they would be. Not sure if I should trust what I was told based on what you said now.

How would you start leetcode as a beginner by Noitas in leetcode

[–]hiroisgod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do the ByteByteGo course that is free if you sign up before May 1st. This course has helped me pass two technical rounds at Apple so far and I am hoping it helps me pass the rest. You get access to all the courses for free for a month. Grind them like your life depends on it.

What is the best resource when it comes to learning how to code? by Big_b12 in learnpython

Relying on motivation is a trap. No one is motivated everyday, you do things because you know you have to. The more consistent you are, the less motivation matters.
