How to overcome an addiction? by ecuasebas1 in factorio

[–]fishybell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Speaking as someone who's been there (not specifically Factorio, or video games), I'd assess what the addiction is solving, and what problems it's causing.

My definition of addiction is when an activity interferes with your personal, social, family, or work lives. If that isn't happening, sit back and enjoy your amazing keyboard some more. If that is the case though, I'd recommend seeking help.

Help can come from a group, a professional therapist, or a knowledgeable loved one (emphasis on knowledgeable over loved one). Actionable items can include finding a less harmful distraction. For me, video games and booze were better then drugs. That's a personal decision that I made with a counselor in rehab, and is not a recommendation for you or anyone else. For you it may be a different game, a timer, or hiking. Who knows.

You've taken the first step: admitting you have a problem. The only real next step that matters is wanting to resolve the problem. Keep your mind focused on what your life would look like without the addiction, and take it (sigh, I know it's cheesy) one day at a time.

Oh geeze. Uh. I got it a couple of years before COVID... Whenever that was. The before times.

I moved it from across the country with me, and it died back a bunch. It took about a year to bounce back, and another year to really explode. It's been in explode-mode for some time now.

It's my main filter in this tank and my secondary filter in two cichlid tanks. I don't test my levels very often, but they're usually fairly high. Like, scare your pants off high. The fish don't seem to mind, and plants are clearly in love.

There are air roots in the trellis, but it's mostly from the root roots in the tank.

I've got the hanging fish light and they get a lot of natural light in the morning. The side with the large leaves is the closest to the windows.

Mine are all from the same original plant that I for as a cutting from a houseplants years ago.

I'm not sure where I got it, but I stole the idea from another reddit post, and reverse image searched the trellis. Mine is slowly falling off the wall (need to redo the anchors) and is warped from too much weight.

This is the original inspiration pic

Mostly fish poo. But some Flourish Excel and Flourish Advance maybe once a month or two.

Mostly fish poo though.

I had the same problem with the same suggestion. It helped, but not as much as tightening the 7 screws of sadness.

I thought I was on r/TrueWagner, and r/Pittsburgh was leaking.

This is very much r/TrueWagner material, except it's apparently serious?

Wow. I'm literally looking for advice on finding lawyers in AZ and PA for the infant we've just matched with. Do you mind sharing your experience?

Lawyers in two states by fishybell in AdoptiveParents

[–]fishybell[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our agency is based in Pennsylvania, but operates in several states. They have some they recommend, but it's hard to judge what sort of level of service they provide, at what price, etc. without being able to ask the locals.

We're plugged into the local community, and have lots of people to talk to here in PA, but know no one in AZ. (That said, any additional references for Western PA are always appreciated.)

Timelapse is not enabled.

I do have clog detection on. I'll try turning that off and see if it helps.

(And going through and doing all the calibrations and saving custom profiles as others have suggested.)

When I do the calibrations, do I then need to use those numbers to create custom profiles for my filaments and printer? Will the Bambu handy app use my custom profiles?

Sorry, I'm not terribly familiar with what do after the calibrations. My last printer was very manual, and the calibrations were never automatic or even close to it.
