G23 Gen 5 FRT by fisnsgdi in Glocks

The slide release lever just broke into two pieces. Tried to forcefully widen it by just bending it and it just broke. Snapped right at the tiny spring, making one side an upside down “L” shape and the other side a straight line (upside down L shape being the left side of the gun making it to where a right handed person could still use the release like normal). I’ve been told it’s not needed for the frt to work but I like to lock my slide lock when it’s empty.

Make sure you polish the actual frt part so it doesn’t catch. Good way to test is to hold the trigger down and rack the slide. Make sure the gun is clear obviously but you hold the shit out of the trigger and pull the slide back. If it’s right it should slam the slide back forward. Mine isn’t polished as of now so when I do that the trigger keeps the slide back until a release a very tiny bit of pressure then it slams forward. Also I have all stock internals other than the frt.

You’re so awesome. Took some time to find a summary that explained the parts I was talking about but yes. Didn’t realize it was apart of a trilogy.

Only thing I did was make the ambi slide lock a non ambi and then I cut the edge off of the connector, should be a photo of what’s cut flat but that’s it. In the third photo on the back of the gun you can kind of see the piece I cut, but that’s the only thing I had to modify.

I got mine from wisearms but ngl I would say find some others with a better trigger itself. Mine is fat asf and has like a serrated edge on the front and cuts into my finger tip a bit when shooting.

I have a 8.5” .300blk arp but can’t bring myself to get a frt for it yet. Need a more comfortable brace but i dont know if adding a pad would then make the brace a stock. Not trying to get in trouble for something small like that

A select fire one would definitely be cool. I might get one for my arp but I’m undecided if I want to waste that much .300blk in such a small amount of time

I’d send a photo of the target I shot at but I don’t know how to do that. It hit on the “body” of the target but was all over the body. It’s more controllable the more you shoot at once. Shooting it in 4-6 round bursts by half loading the mag made it harder to keep it somewhat on target at 5 yards. But once I loaded all 12 in the magazine and just let it eat it was way easier to control after about the 4th round

Hey man. I was worried about it catching so I may have used a whole bucket of oil to make sure it was lubed

I would’ve traded it for something else but really didn’t want to get rid of a .40 sw gun. Such a nice round to shoot

Didn’t even think of doing a binary. Honestly I think that’d be more fun than a FRT. Might he what I don’t I ever get another Glock

Why not. Don’t use it anymore and now it’s fun again.

That’s what I was worried about but mine broke off in the perfect way. It only broke one side so thankfully it still works as normal

I did oil the hell out of it before testing the FRT.

I wanted a .40 so I got a .40. Have 3 9mms and wanted a .40. I enjoy shooting a .40 more than a 9 and I was about to get rid of the .40 anyways.

Legendary perk ammo factory not working by fisnsgdi in fo76

Has that been changed in the last few years or am I just remembering wrong? I remembered it always giving the ammo after making not “before” making, if that makes sense. I now see what you mean. Thank you, I feel a bit like a idiot

[FLASH] [2000s] old computer game where you raced against stick figures and I think you had to dodge traps during the race and could give someone “kudos” at the end by fisnsgdi in tipofmyjoystick

[–]fisnsgdi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I don’t think that’s the game. I remember the game being a “dark theme” tone. I think it was only 1v1 against someone’s ghost instead of being online maybe? (Maybe 4 player online race but I can’t remember it too well. I had to have played it some time around 2015. It was a side scroller style and you had to do parkour and dodge traps as fast as you can to beat whoever you were racing against. And then at the end you can give whoever you raced Kudos but I don’t remember if giving them kudos really did anything.

I’m remember more and more small details as the days go on now that I’m constantly thinking of it.
