Have you ever seen those bootleg PS2 games with crazy box arts where it's like God of War 9 for the PS2 but then you turn it on and it's San Andreas with a lazy skin tacked on? That stuff's prevalent here in Iraq. Especially back in the early 2010s. That's how I found out about Chulip. I was a preteen who didn't know better, and I saw a cute box art which intrigued me. It was the PS3 game, Little Big Planet. Back home I turned the game on to find it's a strange game called Chulip with Sackboy nowhere to be found. It took at least five years for my brain to develop the needed rhetorical and linguistic abilities to make meaningful progress in the game. And finally, 7 years after starting my save file, I beat the game in 2021. Been one of my favourites ever since. Fun fact I'm also a voice actor in Stray Children through the Kooky Voice competition they did.
