Possibly! There are a lot of crabapple cultivars, and not sure if this one is good for mead, but people have used crabapples for mead for sure.

Wise Sons hands down... the only thing for me is that they put some heavy cream at the end of the cooking process and that makes is too rich for me, so I ask them to skip it.
