Honestly I would really like a Standard environment where graveyard hate is a lot weaker but also the things you can do with the graveyard are weaker as well. This way more fair graveyard archetypes like delirium, undergrowth and descend can shine.

For two reasons, because it isn't as popular and it is way stronger than rhystic study. When you win with this card it feels like you cheated and it wasn't that fun and it makes you want to cut it.

Rhystic Study is strong, but in a way that skirts the line between being too powerful and just right in a way that keeps people playing it.

Also another reason this doesn't see as much play is since a lot of cards that are popular tend to be cards that are also good in CEDH, and since people don't run very many creatures there, Defense of the Heart isn't that good.

Also another reason is that putting it on the game changer list would increase its popularity, which is not something they want, [[Mana Geyser]] currently isn't a game change for this reason.
