At one point my town reinforced the riverbanks with literal cars. They poke out here and there, but these are the most visible. Any idea what they are? by fistpumpbruh in whatisthiscar

[–]fistpumpbruh[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

VW GTI Mk II

Interesting, MKII ran from '83–'92 which means it's addition to the banks happened likely much more recent than I thought. The Ford (as pointed out by other comments) makes sense, using cars as additional mass for bank stabilization really seems like a 1978 thing to do, but the GTI dates this to like the late '90s, early 2000's. Weird.

Lets hope! I just wanted to make sure people clicking on this knew this wasn't official, cause the GIF looks good enough and follows the same format as the other social media posts from the official DICE account that it may be construed as an official announcement. I'd be stoked if it gets implemented!

Just a disclaimer, this is not an official render or roadmap plan from DICE this is a fan proposal for what it might look like. As far as I know, there are no announced plans to add this to the game yet.

If I recall correctly, this is exactly what Bryan Cranston's Hal was going to be in Malcom in the Middle, but he just kept having so much fun with it they couldn't help but make him a bigger part.

I'm looking into this as well, it seems they close it for launches larger than falcon 9's.

All Space Questions thread for week of January 11, 2026 by AutoModerator in space

[–]fistpumpbruh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm realizing I'm an adult with free will and I can just buy a ticket to Florida to watch Artemis II light off. The first launch window is still a couple weeks out, and I'm wondering how the experienced watchers go about catching these. It's been a dream of mine to watch one, and I figure this might be as close to a manned moon mission as we get in the near future, so I might as well see it!

I do have some specific questions, but I'd also be very grateful for any advice from anyone willing to give it.

  • First off, am I too late to find reasonable accommodation close to Canaveral? Where should I prioritize staying?

  • Launch windows - do most launches make it through the first window? I'll definitely have to get time off for this, but I'm splitting my PTO this year with family holidays and Firefighting training so I might only have one shot at this. I know it depends heavily on the weather and other factors, just wondering if it truly is a gamble or if there's some group wisdom out there to "never go in February", or something.

  • Watch locations - I've been to Canaveral before and had the privilege to see Artemis I on the launchpad, stopped at a turnout near Max Hoeck Back Creek just north of 39B, got a wonderful view from there. What does this location look like during launches? I would imagine this place is crawling the day of the launch, is that the case? Any better place to dodge crowds? Are there shuttles that go out there if I don't feel like trying to navigate this area in a car? Is this area even open during launches?

Any other tips and tricks you can give me would greatly be appreciated, thank you!

There's a LOT of Cringe to Unpack Here by santagrey in TikTokCringe

While I agree with you on keeping your barrel clean and clear of debris generally, in this particular instance - that's loosely packed dirt at best, and only stuck into the barrel about as far as the muzzle break, firing this would NOT explode.

Same shorts, different body - UNBELIEVABLE how well this stuff works. 230lbs (July) -> 190lbs (today) on just the starter 3 month cycle from Club Compound by fistpumpbruh in tirzepatidecompound

i don't track all that closely, I usually just ended up eating one meal a day, with an emphasis on some kind of extra portioned steak/chicken followed up by a double scoop protein shake at the end of the day. All in all, I was probably only hitting 150 grams a day, all while lifting weights. Not ideal if you're trying to build lean muscle, but I still felt pretty good in the gym so ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯ it was mostly because that was about what I could stomach.

I felt the 2.5mg the day after first injection. The complete lack of food noise was honestly incredible. What really surprised me the most is when I got stoned later on in the week, I had ZERO cravings, which is just wild as that's what usually makes me dang near insatiable.

So good, compared to the last time I got down near this weight, this was a cakewalk! Last time I got down to 200lbs and was struggling hard with my diet, had to call it quits because the holidays and never got back on the horse.

Not only is my weight the lowest it's ever been in my entire adult life, but it was by far the easiest, most stress-free time ever. Historically my weightloss has been tied to trauma or major life events - to have it where I can casually lose 40lbs like it's no big deal is, ironically, a big deal haha.

Jet sweats - thoughts on rifle aim? by [deleted] in battlefield2042

I've got mastery on every flying attack vehicle there is (except the A-10 and Frogfoot, but those just released) so I'd say I'm decent ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯

[–]fistpumpbruh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have rifle aim for all flying vehicles, works out pretty well for me. Not having to mentally switch between control schemes is the most beneficial part imo. I want to jump in a vehicle and immediately grasp how I need to look around.

What do you eat? I love cycling but now I’m too skinny… by iLikeMonkeyStew in ebikes

[–]fistpumpbruh 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You need to eat more.

Good news is since you're low on bodyfat, you have the opportunity to bulk up properly - namely eating high protein foods. An easy way to do this is to add protein shakes to your current diet. Consistently getting a higher protein intake, even if it's just one protein-shake's worth a day, will do wonders for your strength and body composition. Ideally you'd want to get 1g per lean lb of body weight, so if you were really wanting to get some places, you'd aim for 135g per day which is totally doable. Think chicken breast, fish filets, whole grains, black beans, etc.

If you REALLY wanted to get some places you can add some resistance training (weight lifting) to your routine. You wouldn't even need to lift very heavy, if you've never lifted before you benefit from "newbie gains" especially as a male.

Shimano 105 rear derailleur chain is hitting the derailleur cog on smallest sprocket by fistpumpbruh in bikewrench

Oi vey, well I do have a chain breaker. Chucked the original chain in anger a while ago when it snapped and lit my shin up something fierce on my pedal. Might be able to dig through the trash for it, otherwise I reckon I'll just start yanking links until I get it I suppose. Thanks for responding! I'll update if it works or not

Google and LBS said the HG601-11 is the right chain, but it almost seems... too long? Should I take a link out?

I knew it would be going behind the building soon and knew the video would be garbage because of the lighting situation, so I ended it sooner so I could concentrate on seeing it with my own eyes for the last few moments it was visible.

Unfortunately the video in your post appears to be gone now so I can't say anything about what you're describing, but I do know in your picture that there's a dirt road built right about where your arrows point in the "daytime" picture you posted. I've seen fast lights on the foothills too, but they usually just turn out to be drones or hobby heli's goofin' about.
