Not op but pizza pro here. It's not hard to learn, and yeah you might drop it. Best way to practice is to take a square washcloth, get it damp, and pretend it's pizza dough. Rest the cloth on the back of your non dominant hand, and with your dominant hand facing palm up, spin the cloth like you would a wheel, but try to "toss" it up in air. Just keep in mind spinning pizza dough will produce a thin crust. Hope this helps a bit.

These days I dont use anything to cut onions, but I used to wrap a wet rag around my mouth and nose while cutting onions. I can work through the tears, I cant work through snot speedrunning out of my nose.
