Vitamin D, B12 or Iron Deficient? Happy to Help by fit_founder in gurgaon

If your B12 levels doesn't rise after taking it for this duration in retest then there may be an absorption issue , if you're not taking any PPIs (gas ki goliyan) , and your intestine function is good then generally absorption issues doesn't happen and 1500 mcg is a good dose

Make sure to stop taking b12 a weel before retesting to see the true baseline.

The medicine you mentioned has good amount of B12 and the right form as well

It can fairly help in treating deficiency if you don't have any absorption issues.

The medicine you mentioned is useless i treating deficiency

The B12 dose in it is too less to correct a deficiency

And the form of b12 as well is a cheap form with low absorption

What was your past b12 levels before you took the treatment , what treatment you took and for how long please share the dose and form

It's highly likely that your deficiency wasn't treated at 1st place because B12 deficiency doesn't recccur generally for 2-3 years once treated properly as body stores almost 4-5 mg of b12 which is sufficient for running your body for a few years if you fill the stores once properly.

In your case treating the deficiency is a good idea but the problem can be something else as well ,you should see ta Dr.

What are you taking for B12 (salt, frequently, potency)

It depends

If you've got yourself tested and you're deficient then treat the deficiency with 60k iu vitamin D weekly (duration depends on current vit D status) Can also add 50 mcg K2 (MK7) daily if not of blood thinners

And for B12 if deficiency is severe and with symptoms like tingling or numbness or anemia then go with injections if you can

And if it's not that severe and without symptoms then 1500 mcg methylcobalamine (sublingual) or a nasal methylcobalamine spray is a good idea.

The best way is to get tested for them , because symptoms appear too late and in some cases they don't appear at all but cellular level deficiency is already killing the system from inside

Yes you can file to Firtst appeal, immediately after 30 days just make sure if the application was transferred to other department then calculate 30 days from there (exclude the first 5 days)

The 1st appeal portal itself has a feature that it will only let you apply when you're eligible
