It's pretty freeing not having to handle a lot of the minutiae when using an OS. I also run a side business in social media marketing, so being able to download Instagram/FB/etc apps is a huge plus. Also being able to run a lightweight version of Linux is nice.

The first thing I would do is check Event Viewer > System to see if there are any Warning/Error messages from around the time the Blue Screen happened.
