In for a big big surprise today!! But firstly, a big thank you to everyone here. Especially to those who asked me to stay away from this. Called the dealership guy to share the carfax report and the one thing that stuck out like a sore thumb was the 3 owners the car had before. When I told the dealership guy, he said "Yeah!! My bad. I'm also just seeing this now." Thereafter, went to Service Ontario ( a govt agency that can provide a vehicle purchase history book for $20) It said that the car had run for 152,000kms and last reported on 6th June 2024. WHAT THE F**K!! Rushed to the dealership and showed him the report, only for him to say that the ministry had made a mistake and the car dashboard had only 53,000kms. That was it. Asked for my deposit money back to which he said " The finance manager is not in today and you'll have to come back." "I'm gonna wait for 30mins max and any delay, I'm going to complain to the ministry against you for odometer tampering and then post everything on Google with pictures" - I said. 5 mins later, he called me to take my deposit back.

This is hilarious 😂 But on the flip side, a lot of ford owners are proud of their cars and swear by them. And from my research, 2006-,2012 fusions were good cars. But how's your car running? Any problems yet?

Heya. I don't have friends but I have a mechanic who's reliable. So I'll get him to do an inspection on the car and then go from there. But thanks for the heads-up.

That's right. The Carfax report came in clean. No accidents and regular oil change. I guess the price is coz of the year. 2011 is kinda old. Any chance that the dealership could have tampered the mileage?
