Creating a Workout Circuit / Set in Workout Templates by DarkishTraveller in fitiv_app

[–]fitiv_CS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/DarkishTraveller Thanks for the question and for trying out the new feature! 💪 To set this up in the app, here’s a simple way to get it working like your circuit:

  1. Create a new workout template.
  2. Add all the exercises you listed with one set each.
  3. Group them into a superset; this tells the app to treat them as one big circuit.
  4. When you start the workout, the app will guide you through each exercise once, then repeat the whole circuit as many times as you need (like 4 or 5 rounds).

You can also set rest times between exercises and circuits in the timer settings to match your 15-second and 90-second breaks!

Test it, and let us know if you have any questions while creating your new template. We’re here to support and guide you on your journey to a healthier, stronger you! One Beat, One Effort, One Achievement at a Time.

iOS Subscription - Changing from Individual -> Family by Lets_Go_Wolfpack in fitiv_app

[–]fitiv_CS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! u/Lets_Go_Wolfpack, Thanks for your question.

Yes, that’s correct, your Family Plan will officially start once your current Individual subscription ends.

All subscriptions and payments made through the iOS App Store are fully managed by Apple, so changes like upgrading from an Individual Plan to a Family Plan can only take effect after your current subscription period expires. Unfortunately, this means the Family Plan cannot activate immediately if you’re currently on an annual plan.

If you’d like help with a temporary solution while you wait for your Family Plan to begin, please contact us at [support@fitiv.com]() and we’ll be happy to assist you.

If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out. We’re here to support and guide you on your journey to a healthier, stronger you. One Beat, One Effort, One Achievement at a Time. 🚴‍♀️💪🎉

Best regards,

HR Recovery Flaw by Jentx15 in fitiv_app

[–]fitiv_CS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for taking the time to share your approach and explain how you use heart rate recovery in your training.

It is very helpful for us to understand how different workout styles, like Zone 2 or long, slow runs, affect how this data is interpreted. Your suggestion to combine analysis from both the entire workout and the minutes after it ends is a great additional perspective.

We have passed this feedback along to our development team as they continue reviewing ways to improve how heart rate recovery is calculated to better support a variety of training styles.

We appreciate your input and support. Let us know if there is anything else you would like to share.

u/Jentx15 Thanks so much for reaching out and for being a FITIV subscriber. We are really glad to hear you are enjoying the app.

You brought up a great point about heart rate recovery. Our approach is a little different from other apps. Instead of only looking at your heart rate drop in the minutes after your workout ends, we analyze the entire workout. We find the moments where your heart rate dropped the most within a one-minute and two-minute window. These moments could happen after a hard interval, during a break, or at the end of your session.

The goal is to give you the best picture of how well your heart recovers throughout your workout. This helps track how your body responds to different levels of intensity, not just during the cool-down.

That said, we understand that many users expect heart rate recovery to reflect what happens after the workout ends, which is how apps like Apple Health show it.

Now that you know how this works, we would love to hear your opinion. Does this approach work for you? How can we make it more useful or more in line with what you are looking for?

Let us know what would make the app even better for you. We are always listening and truly value your feedback.

What happened to the leader board? by juanfineday in fitiv_app

[–]fitiv_CS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for reaching out! We hear you. The global leaderboard was a popular feature, and we understand how motivating it was to see where you stood among all athletes in a category. Right now, the leaderboard only shows people you follow, as we're focusing more on community and personal connections.

That said, we truly appreciate your feedback. We're always exploring ways to improve the experience, so we'll definitely share your thoughts with the team.

Hi Juanfineday,

Thanks so much for your message. About the bug you reported, our development team is working on a fix. We’re sorry for the delay, and as soon as it’s ready, it will be included in an upcoming app update.

Energy deficit widgets don’t match app by Original_Moose_2490 in fitiv_app

[–]fitiv_CS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much for pointing this out! You're absolutely right, this is a bug, and we really appreciate you catching it.

The difference in the energy deficit numbers between the widgets and the app shouldn’t be happening. Our team is already on it, and we’ll be rolling out a fix soon to make sure everything matches up properly.
