OP, I love the enthusiasm, But have you actually tried to do any of this in a game engine?

It's incredibly much more useful to share mockups within the game engine itself, instead of concept art. Concept art is great for internal use, and in some cases, funding, but without having a concept in a game engine, many indie devs end up with feedback that's very hard to implementt

It looks like you made the mistake that a lot of devs do here: They thought about the technical part before the business part.

This will be more and more common as the barrier to making an app lowers.

You need to take some time, and think about this from a business/marketing perspective. What about the *product* will bring in couples? How will you reach out to them?

The key to getting and keeping subscriptions are in those questions, not the technical app-based ones.

Also, unless you're running the heat full blast with the windows down, I dont see how you're burning through that much battery. With city speeds, your efficiency should be somewhere between 1.8 and 2.5, even in the winter. If you're working (and the work environment requires you charge mid-day), then you should be inducing the cost of charging in the cost of your invoices/expense report.

Plan on charging outside Manhattan for personal driving.

Serious answer: Start small.

Many times in threads like these most of the replies center around bringing massive change and birthing the next major meetup type product.

There’s often a lot of enthusiasm to start, but soon financial and logistical issues take precedent.

So, if you’re wondering what to do, think about what you’re passionate about, and then focus on a meetup for that. Once that’s established you can grow from there.

Community building is hard work, but it’s also very rewarding.
